Beschrijving

Antea formed in Genoa (Italy) in early 2000s. Francesco Calzona (guitar), Luca Serra (bass and electronics), Davide Colombino (synth and vox) and Davide Bellotti (drums) grew up together and evolved into an Experimental Progressive Post Metal band, a distillate that perfectly combine their different music backgrounds: the alchemy among heavy and crashing riffs that hit your breathless stomach, psychedelic fluctuating landscapes that take you adrift, matching rythms that break the whole balance and sonic mantras that lead you to a floating state of mind.

These ideas are widely developed in their debut album “Trepverter” (Yiddish term that describes the predicament of thinking the perfect retort too late), out on July 22nd 2014 in CD and digital format for Taxi Driver Records. Not a proper concept album, but seven powerful tracks with the same unifying intention.
